Self-Check Machine in Children's Services

We are excited to announce that the Children's Services department now has a self-check machine on a trial basis. If you have books to check out, you and your kids can check them out without taking them to the check-out desk in the Great Hall. The Schaffer family (pictured) really appreciated the convenience! At this point, the machine will only allow you to check out books. If you have videos, CDs, videogames, or other nonbook items, they must be taken to the check-out desk in the Great Hall.

Let us know what you think of this addition. We think it will be particularly useful for families with young children. We hope it will be well-used.
